The largest-capacity ship lift in domestic civil shipyards and the first of its kind in Guangdong Province was officially put into operation at Jianglong Shipbuilding in early 2024.

    - The ship-bearing platform measures 158 meters in length and 41 meters in width.

    - It uses a combined hydraulic modular transporter for vessel movement, with a lifting capacity of up to 2,000 tons, significantly improving the efficiency and safety of ship launching operations.

    - The platform is equipped with 22 winches, 11 on each side. Each winch has a maximum pulling force of 20 tons, with a pulley block ratio of 10, resulting in a maximum lifting force of 200 tons per lifting point.

    - The control system allows for both individual local control and centralized control from the control room. The synchronization accuracy is ±10 mm, and the control accuracy between adjacent lifting points is ±2 mm.

Compared to traditional launching methods, this new approach is unaffected by weather or hydrological conditions, reducing the launching time from a full day to just half an hour. This significantly enhances the shipyard's economic efficiency. Additionally, it minimizes safety risks such as vessel capsizing and water pollution during launching, improving overall safety.
